Website pricing, in plain numbers
Updated 30 July 2026
Most web studios make you ask before they tell you anything. We would rather put the numbers on the page. Below are our starting prices, what each one genuinely includes, what gets quoted separately, and how the pay-only-if-you-love-it model works. Every project is still quoted individually — a five-page site for a plumber and a five-page site for a clinic are not the same job — but you should be able to leave this page knowing roughly what you would pay.
The three starting prices
We do three kinds of work. Each has a starting price — the honest floor for a small, straightforward project of that type. Bigger or more unusual projects cost more, and we tell you the number before anything begins.
| What you need | Starts at | Typically suits |
|---|---|---|
| Informational website (brochure, multi-page) | from €300 + VAT | A business that needs to be found, understood and contacted: services, about, contact, a few landing pages |
| Online shop (e-commerce) | from €1,000 + VAT | Selling products directly, with a catalogue, cart, checkout, payments and delivery |
| AI automation solution | from €500 + VAT | Work you currently do by hand: replying to enquiries, posting content, moving data between tools |
All prices are quoted excluding VAT. We are MB Variantai, VAT registered in Lithuania (VAT LT100016340412), so Lithuanian customers add 21%. Whether VAT applies to you outside Lithuania depends on where you are and whether you have a valid EU VAT number — we confirm that in the quote rather than leaving you to guess. Most price pages in this market never mention VAT at all.
What each price includes
The starting price is not a stripped-down version. The build standard is the same whichever tier you are in.
Informational website — from €300
- A real, working website on your own domain, not a template demo or a picture of one
- Mobile-first layout, because that is where most of your visitors are
- Accessible markup built to WCAG guidance, so screen readers and keyboards work properly
- On-page SEO and structured data, so Google and AI answer engines can read what you do and where you do it
- Contact forms, maps and social links where they make sense
- Domain and hosting set up for you — you do not have to touch a control panel
Online shop — from €1,000
- Everything above, plus a product catalogue, cart and checkout
- A payment provider and delivery options connected — which ones depends on who you already use
- Order and product management you can run yourself once we hand it over
AI automation — from €500
- One specific job taken off your desk: an assistant that answers routine customer email, content published to your social accounts automatically, data kept in sync between two systems
- Built on the same infrastructure we use for our own products — sosposting.com is our social publishing platform and puranode.com is ours too, so this is not theory
On quality we can be specific rather than boastful: soswebs.com itself scores 100/100/100/100 in Google Lighthouse for performance, SEO, accessibility and best practices, on mobile and on desktop. You can run the test yourself. That is the standard we build to.
One-off payment or a small monthly plan
You can pay once and own it, or spread the cost over a small monthly plan that you can cancel at any time. Neither option is a trick, and neither changes the site you get.
The monthly route exists because a young business often has the revenue but not the lump sum. If you want it, ask, and both numbers appear in the same quote — the one-off figure, the monthly figure, what the monthly figure covers, and what happens if you stop paying. No surprises hidden in a paragraph at the bottom.
What is quoted separately
Vague pricing usually falls apart at exactly this point, so here is the list. None of it is hidden — anything from it that your project needs shows up as its own line in the quote, before you agree to anything.
- Extra pages beyond the agreed scope
- Custom features — booking systems, member areas, calculators, integrations with software you already run
- Written content, if you would rather we wrote it than supplied it yourself
- Photography — we do not shoot your premises or products as part of the base price
- Translations into further languages (soswebs.com itself is published in nine, so we know what this involves)
- Domain registration and hosting beyond the included setup — these are real recurring costs and we tell you the actual number
- Ongoing maintenance — updates, backups, security and improvements after launch
Domain, hosting and maintenance after launch
A website is not a one-off purchase like a printer. Two costs continue after it is live, and it is fairer to say so now than to invoice you in month three.
Domain and hosting. We handle both for you — registration, DNS, certificates, the lot. Setup is part of the build. The running cost is small and ongoing, and you get the figure in writing before launch.
Maintenance, which is optional. Updates, backups, security patches and the small improvements every live site accumulates. Quoted per site, billed monthly, cancellable. If you would rather look after it yourself, that is a legitimate choice and we will not pretend otherwise.
You pay nothing up front — and here is why we can do that
This is the part people assume is a catch, so read it slowly. We design and build your website first. A real, working site you can open on your phone and click through. Then you look at it. If you love it, you pay. If you do not, you pay nothing — no deposit to reclaim, no invoice, no obligation, no awkward conversation.
It is possible because of how we work, not because of a loophole. We have built and still run our own products on the same foundations, so a first build takes a few days rather than a few months. There is no sales team, no account manager, no pitch deck stage to fund. And we only start on projects we are confident we can do well — we would rather say no at the start than build something nobody wants.
The arithmetic works out. Most studios spend weeks selling before they build anything. We spend those days building instead. If you say no, we have lost less than they spend chasing you.
How this compares with the market
For context, here is what web studios in Lithuania published on their own websites on 30 July 2026, alongside freelance marketplace averages and our own floor. These are their figures, not our characterisation of them.
| Where you buy | Multi-page business website | Online shop |
|---|---|---|
| Lithuanian agencies, published prices | €700–8,000 (most cluster at €1,200–2,000) | €700–20,000 (most cluster at €1,500–4,000) |
| Freelance marketplace bids | €100–500 (average around €293) | €200–800 (average around €483) |
| SOSWebs | from €300 + VAT, built before you pay | from €1,000 + VAT, built before you pay |
Almost none of those pages state whether their figures include VAT, and only one publishes fixed rather than open-ended prices. Cheapest is rarely the point anyway — a €99 site that nobody finds is worse value than a €900 one that brings you work. But you should know where a quote sits before you accept it.
Referral programme: 10% and 10%
Send a business our way and, if they go ahead, you get 10% of the deal and they get 10% off their price. Both sides, every time. It is the simplest version of the arrangement we could write down.
We are a young studio and word of mouth is how we grow, so we would rather pay for an introduction than pay a platform for clicks. If you have someone in mind, email info@soswebs.com and we will confirm the details in writing before anything starts.
Pricing questions, answered
How much does a website cost at SOSWebs?
An informational or multi-page website starts at €300 + VAT, an online shop at €1,000 + VAT, and an AI automation solution at €500 + VAT. These are starting prices — every project is quoted individually, and you get a firm figure in writing before any work begins.
Do I really pay nothing up front?
Yes. We design and build your website first — a real, working site, not a mockup or a picture of one. You look at it, and you pay only if you love it. If you decline, there is no invoice, no deposit to reclaim and no obligation of any kind.
Is VAT included in your prices?
No. All prices are quoted excluding VAT. SOSWebs is the brand of MB Variantai, registered in Lithuania with VAT number LT100016340412, so Lithuanian customers add 21% VAT. For customers outside Lithuania, whether VAT applies depends on your location and VAT registration status, and we confirm it in the quote.
What is not covered by the starting price?
Extra pages beyond the agreed scope, custom features such as booking systems or member areas, integrations with software you already run, written content if we produce it, photography, translations into further languages, domain and hosting beyond the included setup, and ongoing maintenance. Anything your project needs appears as a separate line in the quote before you agree.
Can I pay monthly instead of one lump sum?
Yes. You can pay once, or choose a small monthly plan that you can cancel at any time. The website you receive is the same either way. The quote states both figures, what the monthly plan covers, and what happens if you stop.
What does it cost to keep the website running afterwards?
Two ongoing costs: domain and hosting, which we handle for you and price transparently before launch, and optional maintenance covering updates, backups, security and improvements, quoted per site and billed monthly. Maintenance is optional — you can manage the site yourself if you prefer.
How does the referral programme work?
If you introduce a business to SOSWebs and they go ahead with a project, you receive 10% of the deal value and they receive 10% off their price. Email info@soswebs.com with the introduction and we confirm the terms in writing before the project starts.
Get your website built first — decide after
Leave your name and either an email or a phone number, whichever suits you. We build the site, show it to you, and you only pay if you want to keep it.
